Shaw Communications Inc. donates $500,000 to RESOLVE through the Shaw Charity Classic

This year, Shaw Communications Inc. celebrated the fifth anniversary of the Shaw Charity Classic, an award-winning PGA TOUR Champions Tournament, by extending its commitment as title sponsor to 2020 and adding RESOLVE to its charitable partners.
Shaw’s $500,000 gift through the Shaw Charity Classic is in addition to the $1.05 million of in-kind advertising that Shaw donated to RESOLVE to spread awareness of this first-of-its-kind initiative.
Shaw’s gift will help to provide affordable and supported rental housing for homeless and vulnerable families and youth. It will give Calgarians, who would otherwise be worried about where they will sleep at night, the opportunity to know what it feels like to have a safe and secure place to call home. Combined with the advertising Shaw has provided to the Campaign, this is a significant gift with a far-reaching impact.
